It was a great morning at the Club’s Hill Climb Championship on the brutal Britwell Hill. Despite the low turn out four Club records were set. Ollie Hucks had a great morning not only winning the event overall but he broke Rob Walkers Junior record set last year. Not to be outdone Sam Hucks broke brother Ollie’s Youths record also set last year. Lee Goward showed the mature guys can compete with the young mountain goats and his second place also updated his own Vets record. And to finish the record spree Dena Ford broke the women vet’s record.
In the downhill competition, descending the two miles of Pishill, Toby Ingham had clearly saved himself in the hill climb competition to take the top spot going down, followed by Jules Hucks in second place with Barry Davies third.
Good effort all!
