I know how much you all love coffee and Hot choc also amazing cakes so I have planned a beautiful ride to Columbia coffee Roasters in Wheatley - its located just off the old London Road which is a proper ancient Roman Road route so life of brian puns will I'm sure flow .
The strava route takes your direct to the cafe so make sure you download it -
I have already told the roasters we are coming in force so they will be ready .
I have made the route just over 70k and added a few hills of course but overall it's a 446 meters of climbing .
Something I hope for everyone .
I shall split the ride into groups as usual to ensure we all get the ride we want .

Sunday Steady social ride to Henley
9:00 AM
Location: The Walled Garden
Sunday steady social rides are back on again so I have planned a corking route to Henley on Thames to choc cafe ( now called Vivs ) my old mate Paul Squires used to love this cafe so let's ride and have a coffee and cake at one of our old Captains fave places . We head out of west Wycombe up and over Chipps hill with a mega descent through Hambelden valley famous for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Band of Brothers, and Sleepy Hollow. Then slow climb up pishill ( The name comes from the Old English peose-hyll, which historically translates to the hill where peas grow) honestly lol .
Then we drop back home to Wycombe
Distance out and back is 50k with 400 meters of climbing
It's a chill steady Sunday club ride so bring good vibes
Please wear club kit if you have it

Majorca 2027
7:00 AM
Location: Port de Pollença
Over six days we'll cover around 700+ km and more than 8,000 metres of climbing, with iconic Mallorca climbs including Sa Calobra, Puig de Randa, Cap Formentor, and Saint Salvador. Expect a mix of rolling days, alongside big mountain days like Sa Batala and the legendary Sa Calobra hairpins that every cyclist should ride at least once in their lifetime. Alternative routes will be planned if you don't fancy too much climbing and we will cater for all levels of rider.
There is a compulsory finish for all rides at The Store Formentor for light refreshments, recovery drinks, and the essential ride debrief.
Above all, this trip is about riding great roads with great people. Pace yourself, look after each other, and enjoy one of Europe's best cycling playgrounds. It's going to be a brilliant week.
